15 Apr 2010 PS Srijan Education Foundation introduces A school for Business and Entrepreneurship An initiative to provide global education a local platform Kolkata, 11th March 2010: PS Srijan Education Foundation, a Charitable Trust established by PS & Srijan Group (both leading players in the real estate market,) introduces an educational institute I-Lead (Institute of Leadership Entrepreneurship and Development) to impart world-class training in Business Management and Entrepreneurship to aspiring students. Mr. Pradip Chopra, CMD, PS Group and Chairman of I-Lead today announced at a press conference, the initiative of the group to educate the students and also provide them with the necessary practical knowledge for all-round development required to become a successful professional and entrepreneurs. The objective of the institute is to make not only managers but business leaders. ILEAD, a Business School therefore aspires to provide a holistic learning experience with hands on learning on live projects. Use of latest Technology & permanent and visiting faculty drawn from world’s best business school and industry expert would make this B-school world class. On the occasion, Mr. Pradip Chopra said, “The main aim of this institute is to develop young Indian students into outstanding business leaders keeping in view the fact that the majority of India’s young population often migrates abroad in search of better educational opportunities. To fill this inadequacy, I-Lead will have special advantages and unique benefits for its students.” He further added, “The institute located within the heart of the city, already have a tie-up with over 130 internationally acclaimed Academicians, Educationists, Research Scholars, and Professionals working in well renowned universities and Corporates within and outside India to act as the visiting faculty. The guest faculty will also comprise of IAS officials, CMDs, CEO’s, CFO’s and HR professionals working with the leading companies in Kolkata.” Besides the benefit of international academic expertise and the corporate experience, the students will have global exposure, as they will be required to select two countries of choice, as part of their curriculum to not only become familiar with the business customs and practices specific to these countries, but also understand how business is uniquely done in those countries.
